Mercury Sable & Sable Hubcaps
Out of FIVE stars, the consumer reviews gave the car with OEM Sable Hubcaps FOUR stars; which means it’s a pretty great car - it’s better than decent. The base model has an Automatic transmission & all wheel drive. The difference with this one & the premier model is that the premier model comes standard with Bluetooth and and iPod input - the base model does not. When the 2008 model was released, they molded it so it can resemble the much-improved Montego. It had a more powerful engine, a much nicer & quieter cabin, a minor “face-lift”, and even if it didn’t have Sable Wheel Covers on it, it should have - but the Alloy Wheels were pretty nice & will do for this model. Since no one really has any experience driving a Mercury Sable with Sable Hub Caps , there’s a lot of ponder as to why there were so many people buying the car all of a sudden. There’s no real reason recorded as to why Mercury re-debuted the Sable, but the only thing that we know is that it’s back and it received really good reviews; so people just have to deal with it - people like me. The best thing that you can probably hear about the Sable is that it has improved running gear and improved features - but then, what vehicle manufacturer doesn’t say that; right? Mercury even said that there were more than 500 changes made! I have no idea how many things within the car you can change, but it does sound like it has changed for the better. There was 260-Horsepower V6 that replaced the uninspiring 203-hp V6 engine. The new model of the Sable also had a front end that was restyled to bring it up to date, it included the option of stability control which helps people like me “steer” properly in some situations, a retuned suspension, a new system called “Ford Sync” that allowed hands free use of mobile phones, and some more insulation so that way the driver can have a ride that was more quiet. If you were to ask me, these are all the features that are on cars like Jaguar’s and Mercedes’. Here’s the basic description : the Sable with Mercury Hubcaps is your typical full-size sedan that you can either buy in front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive (Mercury knows that people like their options!) There were two trim levels that were offered : Base and uplevel Premier. There were full-power accessories, a steering wheel that was wrapped in leather (which is better than my steering wheel that’s wrapped in a zebra cover), AND an MP3 jack for your iPod. What more can a person ask for? When a person chose the uplevel Premier model, they got 18-inch wheels, a leather interior, seat heater for the driver and passenger seat, heated mirrors with puddle lamps, AND a memory system for the driver seat/mirrors; my mom’s BMW has all of these .. except the heated mirrors with the puddle lamps. As I read more and more about this car, I just want to go out and buy it! I mean c’mon, how many cars have that heated mirror with that puddle lamp thing on their car? None! .. except maybe if you have the Sable. So, do you want this car? I bet you do. Have you seen how nice the Sable Wheel Covers are? I can honestly say that you cannot go wrong if you buy this car; you have features that people with BMW’s wish they had.
