Dog Dish Hub Caps & Center Caps

Dog dish hubcaps are a slang word for a particular family of center caps that date from the 1940’s to the 1970’s for cars and are still used on trucks and vans today. The term, “Dog Dish” was given to this style of hubcaps because most all of them, when turned upside down, can easily be used as a bowl for dog food and water. In fact here at Hubcaps.com, our very own pure breed “Junk Yard Dog”, Emma, uses only the top of the line dog dish to be served up gourmet meals daily.

Dog dish hub caps typically cover about 10” to 15” of the center portion of the wheel, attaching over specially engineered nubs on the steel wheel. Only certain wheels with these nubs manufactured onto them can accept this type of dog dish hub cap.
