Ever since it first started, Acura has been involved in racing. This means that you can most likely see one of the Acura Center Caps<\/a> or logos somewhere on the car!<\/p>\n

\"\"It has been specifically involved in the S<\/strong>ports C<\/strong>ar C<\/strong>lub of A<\/strong>merica (SCCA) and IMSA GT Championship series. When Acura had participated in the 2006 Detroit Auto Show, they announced the plans they had regarding entering the American Le Mans Series with multiple teams of Le Mans prototypes. The cars were going to be purchased chassis from different existing manufacturers – but they\u2019ll use Acura V8s .. and maybe some Acura Wheel Covers<\/a> here & there.<\/p>\n

The three prototypes that were Acura based had made their appearance at the 2007 12 Hours of Sebring – it was nothing less of a success.<\/p>\n
