We found one! These hub caps are so rare that we here at Hubcaps.com have never come across one in the 22 years we’ve been doing business until now.
As we’ve said before, we go out buying hubcaps each week. We had the opportunity to acquire a load of hubcaps and wheel covers from a gentleman in Anaheim CA. Imagine our surprise and delight to find this gorgeous hub cap in that load of hub caps and wheel covers . It’s in immaculate condition and is just absolutely beautiful!
The 1956-57 Lincoln Continental Mark II that this Lincoln hub cap belongs to were owned by such celebrities as Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Louie Prima, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Barry Goldwater, Spike Jones, Nelson Rockefeller, Henry J. Kaiser, Howard Johnson, the Shah of Iran and many others. I found a beautiful example of the Mark II here, owned by Barry Wolk.
