As you can probably tell by the title, the Stratus and Stratus Hub Caps were made to replace the Spirit. Out of three sedans that were based on the same platform as the Stratus, this car was known as the sportiest.
When the first generation came out, people liked it because of the sharp styling it had, how roomy it was inside, and how much you can get with the car even though it was at such a low price. When the next generation came out in the new millennium, Dodge had redesigned it to have more safety equipment and a more powerful V6 engine. They even made coupe model !
Even though the Stratus and the Stratus Hub Caps had a pretty decent run for when it was available to customers, it never really became the Camry of Dodge .. which means it wasn’t as popular as Dodge thought it’d be. Truth is, the way it was built couldn’t compare to its competitors.
