Components Of Power Steer

July 18th, 2011

Here’s what goes into that whole power steering thing that controls your Isuzu Hubcap :

1. Pump – This is how the hydraulic power is provided : by the rotary-vane pump. This specific pump is driven by the engine in the car via a belt and a pulley.

2. Rotary Valve – This is the “thing” that is supposed to sense the force on the steering wheel. The torsion bar is the key to the rotary valve.

I guess there’s not much to it, but it’s better that you know instead of not knowing what turns your Isuzu Hubcaps – kind of being late instead of not showing up at all.

You know?
Mykalanne.
