This was the car that was first designed at Acura’s Design Studio in Torrance, CA. The car was designed by a lady named Michelle Christensen – she based the design on the Acura MDX vehicle by using its 3.7 litre V6 engine. A lot of people think that the car is based on Honda’s Crosstour model, but it’s definitely not.
The ZDX was the first car that was completely built here in North America. It had made its initial debut on October 15, 2009 at the Orange County Auto Show with an Original Acura Hubcap on it.
