From the moment the Lancer & the Lancer Wheel Covers came out, they never really made that impression like new cars are supposed to make. They labeled the car “underpowered and not particularly entertaining to drive, its interior was simply OK and its styling was dull to boot.”
When the second generation was released, they had fixed both of these problems – they even added a brand new fascia that was called “shark nose”- I think they had redesigned the Lancer Wheel Covers as well. The car was even fun to drive after it went through a redesign.
I guess you can categorize the Lancer as the car that went through the most changes and also the car that improved the most.
