This van is pretty old; well kind of. It was first introduced to the public with the OE Windstar Wheel Covers on it in the mid 1990s. It was marketed for how safe it was – and that’s what it based its
principles on. It wasn’t there to show something off – I think it was more like “This van is affordable and has all of the basic features families need, so it’s here if you want it .. with good looking Windstar Hubcaps to go along with it.”
The only thing with this van is that the engine and transmission had some minor difficulties. People didn’t like the noisy engine and the poor handling either .. so, that took a toll on the people’s opinions.
There’s a sight that says before you buy this van, you might want to take a look at your other options. I don’t mean to offend the people who have this van at all! That’s just what the critics have to say. Thank goodness we have the fabulous Windstar Wheel Covers if you ever happen to need them.
